What's with the challenges?

This project is one that takes a little bit of explaining.  The main goal for us is, as we've mentioned, to live in more creative, loving, and all-around better ways.  There are many things people can do to accomplish such a feat; the way we choose to do it is by daily challenges.  Each one is meant to stretch us in some way-- mentally, spiritually, physically, emotionally.  Every challenge has a purpose, whether it's to learn to think outside of the box or whether it encourages people to love each other in a better way.
So, for instance, let's say that one challenge is to go the entire day without technology.  Why?  Because it's good to learn that our iPhones aren't the most important things in life.  It's good to spend time away from screens; read a book or go for a walk instead.  Spend time in the Word and learn to live apart from the little devices we're addicted to.  We may not always think of it this way, but we really are ADDICTED to phones, laptops, TVs, and the like.
As another example, maybe one day the goal will be to eat only vegan foods.  Why on earth would you do that?  If nothing else, it gets us out of our normal routines and we're forced to live-- for one day-- differently.  This particular challenge could help us eat more healthy foods, as well as appreciate the food we usually do eat.
All in all, the point of these challenges is to do just what the word suggests-- challenge us.  Do something you usually wouldn't do; get outside of your little box.  Take a chance, even if it's just for one day.  Maybe you want to try a challenge every day, like us, or maybe you just want to try out a few.  However many challenges you try, the important thing is to get out there and do it!  That's what our project is about, really.  Getting out there and trying new things that may be scary or just weird.
Don't worry about how you look when doing some of them...who cares!  Don't worry about failing, because we fully intend to fail a lot of these ourselves.  Nobody's perfect, after all.
We invite you to join us, in whatever capacity you like, and focus on making the world a more creative, loving, fun place.  Don't be shy; share your experiences, your thoughts (even if they differ from ours; just keep it kind), and even pictures of what you do.
